Methyl-β-cyclodextrin (Methyl-beta-cyclodextrin) is a macrocyclic compound used as a solubilizer for hydrophobic compounds in biological experiments. Methyl-β-cyclodextrin is also a lipid raft inhibitor with cholesterol-lowering activity and potential antitumor activity.
