Piperlonguminine shows anti-inflammatory, antitumor, neuroprotective, anti-platelet, anti-melanogenic, antifungal and antibacterial activities.Piperlonguminine is an inhibitor of Akt/mTOR signalling. It acts by promoting autophagy and mediating cancer cell death.
